what is the dif from a fcr carb compared to a normal carb?

Keihin's FCR carb is a "normal" carb. Fundamentally, there isn't much difference in the way an FCR functions compared to most others (Edlebrocks, Lectrons, and all constant velocity (CV) carbs notwithstanding). It's just the particulars of the FCR's design that combine to make it the premiere carburator available.
