what kind of oil in rear diff/gearcase on 250ex?

i need to change the oil in the rear diff. what oil am i supposed to use in it? somehow the drain bolt worked its way out and it ran dry for a little while. i plan to flush it out with some real light weight oil a few times to get any junk out of it before i refill it. what kind and how much do i use?

go to walmart and get some rotella 80-140 gearlube. its less than 4 dollars and you will have enough to flush and refill.

also thats not the first time i hurd of the plug working it way loss .

get an armor plate for the swingarm

that plate wont help it covers the plug no more than the stock
