This really isn't anything that keeps me from riding, but I've noticed I have to pull in my clutch on my 300ex for it to turn over. Anybody know what usually causes this.

is the quad in gear or in neutral?cause if its in gear its a saftey switch in the clutch perch...if its in neutral then there is some thing wrong with ur neutral saftey switch...

If the quad is in gear you have to pull in the clutch to start it, thats how its made. It does it in neutral.

your safety swtich is going bad. Just splice the two wires that go into the stock perch together. That will fix your problem, but watch out because you will be able to start in gear without the clutch.
