12.5:1 or 11:1

I've been thinking about going to a 416 and a higher compression piston. I do not know if I want to go with 11:1 or 12.5:1 ratio. I know you have to run 50/50 with 11:1 and straight 104+ with 12.5:1, but is the hasle of 12.5:1 worth it?

Has anyone out there ridden a bike with both compression ratios? If so was it worth the extra hasle and expense of running straight race fuel?

It will be used mostly in MX and harescrambles.

I wish i could help you more, but i will make some suggestions. If you can get race fuel easily, can afford it, and jsutify the 12 5:1 compression. Do it.

If you are just looking for a regualr power boost, get the 11:1.
