tv problems!!!

my tv was clicking on and off, then just shut off and wont turn back on. (i already checked the plugs)...any ideas???:confused:

yeah, i hope thats not the case though. Its a rather expensive tv and im hoping theres a simple cheap solution.

the same thing happened to one of ours a while back...it died:( lol...it was time for a new one

Haha my tv in my room is pretty old, so whenever i push the on button it would turn on for atleast 2 seconds and than turn back off theres a 40% chance it will work.

One time i had to sit there trying to turn it on for like 10 minutes. It sucked :(

Probably just an old component in the switching supply going bad. An easy fix if you know anyone who knows electronics.

Yeah, it sounds like a dirty/ stuck switch.
