Anybody that rebuilds shocks. What weight and brand of oil do you use? I am going to be changing the oil in ours and just want to know what most of the shock builders use. I have used Hondas fork and shock oil 5w but like I said would like to know what you are using.

No Problem dads400. Silkolene is the best, but Penske Race Shocks (and Custom Axis) have a corner on the market. I am a race shock rebuilder and I buy most of my stuff from Anita at Indy Motorsports (317) 381-6924. She used to be Penske Shocks R&D and is a Penske WD. She builds Indy car, Nascar and Formula 1 shocks and is the wife of renowned Indy car engineer Howard Millican. I need to stay in her good graces so tell her Nick Adams sent you.

I use Race Tech, but I have some Amsoil that I haven't used yet. I bought it because that's all the local shop had.
