The main advantage of the Flexx bars is rider longevity. If arm pump, fatigue, and tingley hands is a probelm for you (like it is for me) then the Flaxx bars are worth it

What was hard for you to get used to? I have heard people said they were hard to get used to but didn't know what they meant.

Anyways the other day I got a good 4 or more hours of ride time in(not all at one time) but I rode mx woods and all kinds of high speed and rough terrain and I am surprised i lasted that long! :eek2:

they have motorcycle bends and quad bends. I got one of the lower quad bends (Creech bend) i like them the are very comfortable! You should call up Fasst co. and ask them about the exact bends they have!

yes they have "elastometers" or something liek that and when pressure is applied to the out part of the parts (part where you hold on) they compress. Basically they are just rubber bushings.

do the rubber bushings wear out over time?

hey there little feller.Long time no talky.I bought myself a set for christmas and can't wait to try them out. After riding them on lukes i've wanted a set. Like others posted. Less arm fatigue and less strain on your arms/body.They send 3 or 4 different elastomers and you can get replacement ones from fasst. I haven't heard of anyone that had to replace their elastomers yet as long as you take care of them.(not cut them up with the pressure washer!) dir....

They are supposed to be good for reducing arm pump and prolonging longevity but the bends are different from what I hear. I may be mistaken, but the bars are usually straighter than a normal aftermarket bar, meaning less pullback. I buddy of mine rode with them on his 450R and ended up getting rid of them because they made him have to change his whole riding position because he had to lean further over to hold onto the bars and it resulted in knee pain since they were bent more and absorbed more shock. For him, the arm benefits were outweighed but other pain they caused.

Sounds like he got the wrong bend for his style.

can someone give me a comparison of the different bends, and explain the 12 and 14 degree thing? i have always just rode with the bars my bike had on it, what would be closest to my ltr stock bars?

Mine are cr lowbends. I prefer the dirtbike bends .. I always have. It is just my style. They make them in high and low bends. Both atv and dirt bike bends, plus they make the pro riders bends also.

I ordered cr double hi 12 degree bend bars, They are on back order right now. I'm hoping they will be worth it. I am putting them on my atc250r. Are these bars 7/8" or 1 1/8" bars? I will buy the big bar adapters now if so they are.

Flex bars are well worth the money. Yes, they really flex, and you can control how much they flex with how tight you clamp down the elastomers.....you can choose how soft or hard you want the rubber bushings, too. I liked mine on yellow.....and I could even go a bit softer......yellow worked really well for me. This is one of those "must have" items I will always have on any quad I have from now on.......

And I didn't have to get used to them at all........they felt great right off the bat....

yours are the dirtbike and from the pic I can't tell if they are 12 or 14 degree and the other picture posted (Fast250r) looks like he has the ATV 14 degree bars.

for the person that asked 12 or 14 degree that is the sweep or how far they bend towards you.

Yup.. I got the dirtbike CR bend 14 degree.. I'd like to try and trade someone for some higher quad bends..
