Keep a tube of ointment on hand all year long.
Learn sign language.
Have one night where I don't remember anything from being wasted.
Light a fart. (Seen it done and determined to do it.)
And maybe put a down payment on a different truck.

i want to be down to 275 by august. i am 326 right now. makes riding alot harder. it has been my resolution for 3 years now, but this year i have some extra motivation. two mail family members were put in the hospital this year with heart troubles. i don't want that to be me in a few years if i don't loose some serious weight.

Drop my weight back down to 175 and get in better shape (average between 185-190 now).

Build a new deck for my house.

Get my $200 beater Mustang into the 12's, w/a 237k mile motor and as cheaply as possible.

There are a few others, but these were the few that stood out the most.

Actually,it does :huh

try getting traction and manuvering it if your light weight.
My kid is so light she cant get any rear traction on my 440

yes but more weight will also affect acceleration because of the added weight...so instead of being heavier i run lower tire pressure and get just as much traction

I understand that ,I understand power to weight ratios very well actually...but that doesnt always work for everyone or on every set up or every application.
There isnt enough air to take out of my quad for my 95 lb Daughter, she would be riding on a wheel!! LOL :p

1fst400
01-01-2007, 12:27 PM
mine would be to get into a little better shape, not weight so much as just working on my abbs a little.

also to get no tickets this year, I cant get any kind of ticket or I will loose my licence for a year.

and my last one is to ride at some better tracks. I hope to make it to bpg and mabie some others this summer.

Dude at 125lbs there is no way you can control your YFZ the way someone with the same skill level but 20lbs heavier and stronger would be able to. Its just common sense.

Race B class.

Well last night the lady said i ruined her new years cuz she was on the phone with the police when the ball dropped. So thats a great way to kick off the new year. I also had to go home early which killed any hope of hooking up with the girls there.

I would also like to do a superman and break 100' in 07. Build onto my track a lot also.

When I have money I need to keep it longer (save) then I normally do and make sure when I buy something It's acutally worth it. I have a tendency to blow money fast! :p

I just spent $104 on 14 reversible ratcheting wrenches today. :D

all that proclaimed resolutions, its over halfway through the year... have you achieved any of your goals?

ive lost about 10lbs.. still need to change my diet and get outside more..

i have rebuilt the quad(a good reason to get out more..) with the exception of getting the E-series pipe welded/rebuilt.. although i did get beadlocks as part of the rebuild, im going to get them powdercoated.

sadly.. outside of 401K, which seems to be a losing proposition considering the stock market, i havent put enough away to mention.. i am close to paying off the mortage on the second shack though..

anyone else work on their resolutions?

I hardly ever make any New Years Resolutions because I always break them .

This year I didn't make one , but one of my goals was to cut down on eating fast foods ( McDs, Wendy's, etc). I used to eat the crap atleast 4 times a week , but now I'm down to maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks . :D And just by doing so , I feel SO MUCH better .

I've also tried to eat more fruits and vegitables (with success) and eat more baked rather than fried foods .

Just recently I was given a new treadmill ( thanks Grandma ... it's worth over $2000 and she gave it to me in exchange for an old bedroom set I had :huh ) so now that we're half way through the year I'm going to start walking atleast 30 minutes every day to get me into a routine , feel better and try and rebuild muscle in my leg that was broken 3 years ago.
