yea, that works good, you can take the closed end of a wrench and put it on that to get more leverage, thats what we used to do, now we use one that we use to work on our bulldozer with, its about 3 feet long, talk about some leverage :macho

yeah,thats what i have always used.i found with the hondas,once u loosen up the lock nut,it never stays tight again.i've tried red,blue,yellow,thread compound types of loc-tite and still no good.i finally broken down and purchased a anti-fade nut,and i don't have any more problems with it loosening up any-more.

I have been using loctite and that nylon plumbers thread tape on my axle nut and it hasn't came loose with this combination :macho

A little bit of electrical tape does the job.

I just use an axle wrench and a cheater bar.
