i dont know if everyone knows this but a 450 timing chain will fit in a 400ex...and its alot cheaper like by 50 bucks!!!!if u have any questions just ask....

Please explain with more detail, I have to replace mine and my tensioner and 2 intake valves. I have a high comp piston and stage 2 cam that are luckily still good.

Go to Service Honda and get part number
14401-MEB-671

It is a timing chain from a 2002-2004 CRF-450 dirt bike

Works great!!!

i ordered that chain for mine and it was the same as a 400ex, it wasnt heavy duty, iwas 7 row not 9 like i have heard

I got mine from C&D for 33 bones.

i got and 05 crf450 chain (14401-MEB-671 CHAIN, CAM (112L) (BORG WARNER) $33.84 ) thats the part # and the price on www.planethondaracing.com it works perfect its just as good as any other HD chain for a 400
