help with valve clearance stg.2

does anyone knows the valve clearance for a 440ex with stg.2 cam (magnum cam) and a 12.5:1 piston? i will appreciate any kind of help. thnx.

The cam should come with specs. I BELIIEVE my friends 440 w/ stg2 was just one up from stock on each. .005 and .006, exhaust w/ more clearance of coarse. But please do not quote me on those specs. I'm sure someone will be able to tell you for sure. Good luck. :D

ok thnx, i'll check that out. and yes the cam had some specs. minimum clearance- intake .050' exhaust- .080' but i didn't know what will that be in mm. for example a .012mm - .013mm and which will be the best clearance. anyway once again thnx.

Oh okay. I think you mean .005 and .008? This would be .127mm and .203mm. I would personally set them right at the minimum requirements for best compression.
