This amp is brand new, only been out of the box to look at. I just bought this and found out that i need an amp triple the power for my subs, price is 220 shipped.
Old school bass-heads will tell you that big bass means big, power-hungry amps. But if you attend the Audiobahn school of bass, you'll get a "D" for sure. That's because class D amplifiers use bleeding-edge technology to cram scary levels of bass power into small, efficient packages. Double sided glass epoxy PC boards, multi-stranded toroidal power transformers, and dual cooling fans add up to a serious education in raw bass power. Class D efficiency allows these ultra-compact amps to triple their rated output power into 1 ohm loads. Of course there's also a variable 18dB/octave low-pass (50 – 250Hz) crossover and variable phase shift, but Audiobahn even throws in a remote bass boost control module. And if the chrome plated finish wasn't enough, the built-in LCD voltage indicator will definitely tell you these amps are "new school."
