I run 20's and I don't really have a problem with ruts. HD"s have pretty good bite to the sides as well so that will help

i always run maxxis tires but if u run in a rocky area where u can ghet a flat easy i would run the HD they will hold up alot longer the only down side is that they are heavyer than most.....

If you'd consider a 22", I'd seriously look at a Maxxis All Trak. The lugs are 3/4" deep and they get great traction. I also have some on my 4wd and they are wearing phenomenally.

All Traks are what all the 4wd racers used until there were more options out there and if you notice, many still use them.

no thanks on the all traks i need something that is gncc race ready.but thanks for the input i think i am gonna go with razr 2's for the extra ground clearence

HD's are really heavy, doesn't let you slide too much. They hook good though.

Razr 2's, are somewhat like HD's they hook great and don't let you slide much. Not as heavy as HD's

I Razr's are GREAT, they let you slide and you can spin the tires when need and they hook when needed, perfect trail tire

ITP makes a Mudlite SP (for sport quads). Check their website for it, they hook really good.

I'm sorry I didn't realize they were barred from the GNCC.

I know some guys that don't like the I-razrs cause they are radials. I don't know if they get along with rocky terrain. They have a soft side wall. I have only ran razr2 so I can't really help you, But I do have good success with them

Razr 2's in front (21/7/10) and I razr's(20/11/9) are what most pros and amatuers have setup for GNCC. Razr 2's (20/11/9) for the rear will be fine as well. I use razr 2's and I razrs for the woods and Razr mx tires for the mx track.

I razrs only come one size. 22/7/10 front and 20/11/9 rear. At least thats it as far as fitin honda size rims.

as far as the deep mud question. Its a tose up between razr 2's and I razrs. In theory the I razrs will clear the mud and not gum up as bad as razr 2s due to the wider spacing of knobs on the tires. And yet at the same time i think that Razr 2's would still have better traction in deeper mud. I guess someone needs to experiment with a set of Razr 2's and I razrs in some nasty mud. I personally have never gotten stuck with either tire.

any body willing to give me to sets of test tires one set of razr 2's and one set of i razrs, and i will keep the better ones haha.

maybe if i sent maxxis a email they could tell me?
