Ok what sprocket set up would you run if you wanted a little higher top speed and but still have really good bottom end power. would tire size matter too.

you need a taller rear spocket for more top end speed

--to go faster, you need a smaller spocket on the rear, or you need a larger on the front. putting a 1 tooth larger on the front is like putting a few tooth smaller on the rear.

I have two 300exs and they are both the same and have same tires , both have the stock 38 on back one has a 12 tooth on front and the other has a 14 on front and the one with the 14 is 10mph faster than the other so i would suggest put on a 14 on front and if thats not fast enought then put on a 36 in the rear.

yea, get a 14 tooth front sprocket, you might want to get 20 inch tires too

Whay would you want to tell him to get 20" tires exriderdude? He says he wants more top speed!

300EXKING, the smaller rear tires will give you less top speed. For more top speed you need what L.Vegas400 said. Smaller rear sprocket or bigger front sprocket or taller rear tires(but I don't recommend that).

Ok i have 20 inch tires in the rear, now if i had a 14 tooth sprocket up front would this affect my bottom end power.

14T front sprocket and 20" tires is very close to the stock setup as far as power goes (13T, 22" tires).
