I'm thinking about buying this for my room. My question is would it be able to hook up to my computer?

I would think so, via the USB. But I wouldnt buy anything without at least two HDMI inputs and an HDMI out. You'll be glad you did when you get an HDTV.;)

To stream 5.1 Audio from your PC through this system (ie games, DVD's...etc) make sure you have a sound card that uses the coaxial interface. If not, you will be stuck sending 2 channel stereo which will not give you true 5.1 surround. Here are the only inputs listed on the system

Inputs: 1 coaxial digital audio and 2 stereo audio

As for the USB adapter, this will only allow you to play back .MP3's... it will not pass 5.1 surround. I suppose you could stick a USB memory stick into it loaded with MP3's and play it. This would be pointless if you are running your PC audio through it as all of your MP3's will reside on your PC.

yes , you could use that setup very easily. get a tv tuner video card. some of the nicer ones have rca inputs, and digital audio inputs. i suggest you buy this, if you have the cash.
