05 400 ex rev.

i just bought a 05 400 ex with a Curtis sparks race engine . the guy i got it from said he had trouble with it going into rev. while running in neutral so he had it removed .does this sound right or is he full of it ? it runs like a raped ape thanks.

If you want reverse put it back on. Probably just needs adjustment.

all he did was remove the switch, probably took him 10 minutes i bet
