300ex engine mess up

My 300ex is stock wit drag slicks on the back. My friend and I add some octane booster to the gas about a week ago. Now when we go top end it feels like its runnin out of gas or something. Could the octane booster of did this or is there a inner problem? A friend of ours said something about maybe the valves are gettin to hot and bending. I really don't know but some insight would be gladly appreciated.

well do the basics , drain you gas, cleanfilter, check plug, change oil if needed, and then rid it again, if not you valves might need adjusted, but never add octane booster to a engine that doesnt need it

Octane boost is a waste of money. I takes you from 93 grade to a whopping 93 1/2 octane. This is depending on ratio.... Race gas is 108, 110 etc.

Anyway, What do you mean it feels like it runs out of fuel? What does it do? Explain the symptoms as best as possible please.

Check your plug, is it's white it's lean, black it's rich, tanish cardboard colored it's perfect. If it's lean it's probably going to feel like it's running out of gas because it's starving for fuel.

To correctly diagnose by your spark plug you actually need to cut away the threads. This allows you to see the insulator ring. Just looking at the plug doesn't do you any good. But please explain better. :D
