magnum cam?

anybody heard or have experience with this brand of cam?

I remember looking for info on these cams. I couldn't find hardly anything.
It's my understanding they are some type of distributor. I recall seeing the valve train needed to be modified, vaguely remember something about needing something welded and the valve guides shortened.

I elected to go with the HotCam stage 1 as they had a great site, install info, a dyno sheet (albeit for a XR400), and a great deal of great press. It's basically a drop in.

I am not diminishing the Magnum but I could'nt find out much about them or know anyone that has one.

I can tell you I got an impressive gain in performance and was happy with the workmanship and fit and finish that went into the Hot cam.

I've never heard of them. I've got a stage 1 hotcam and love it. There was no mods needed to put it in.
