450 shocks

hey whats going on guys. I just got 450r shocks. I hope to get +2 a-arms, and i found out that if i dont get them re sprung or revalved for my weight or riding style that the quad will sit about 1 inch higher. Is this true. Cuz i didnt know that and what would it be to get this kinda work done to it. I did this set up cuz im on a tight budget. Now it could be worse. please help.
