I cant decide between GT Thunder or Derisi revalves. I am trying to get set up for my local hare scramble series. I am planing on getting revalve and respring on all 3 shocks along with a XC link. I have stock A-arms and swing arm and to not plan on going wider or longer. Any input would be great, maybe it will help me make my mind up! Do both of these rear XC links work with a Pro Armor swing arm guard?

i've got the derisi revalves and link for xc and they are awesome. plus derisi is a great guy to work with. i dont have any personal experiences with gt thunder but from what i hear they have great revalves also. you could try C&D also, they did a friend of mines 450r also and they work great. you pretty much cant go wrong with any of these. my 450r has a prm rear skid and i had to cut the link groove to make room for the new link, i dont really know about the pro armor stuff though.jeff

I just sent my shocks out to DeRisi again for 2007:D . Whats the waiting time on DeRisi lately? Def. stick to stock a-arms and swinger, instead invest in a percision steering dampner. You can always customize your swinger gaurd, Thats what I did with my old AC gaurd.

The sprocket guard is $124.95
The disc brake guard is $ 49.95

Does anyone have any pictures of this setup?

would you recommend them for GNCC racing? I need to figure something out and I really dont want to hack away a $125 dollar PRM skid plate if these work even better.

yes, I ran a full season with that setup with no problems. The extra ground clearance is very nice also.

alright sounds like I have to get one. What one did you use? The GT or the LS?

On two different peoples quads I've seen the LSR rotor guard and its very poorly made. It uses thin gauge metal and flexes like crazy. One was on a 450r and the other a yfz. Also, the fella on the 450r couldn't use the double disc chain guard. Kept packing up with dirt/rocks/etc. I think a single disc guard would work better. I believe Gt thunder sells both styles.

I would go with the DeRisi shocks. Santo is an awsome guy and he will make sure everything is right. I had his revalves and they worked great. Santo is the only person I would ever let service my shocks. You will not be dissapointed.

do the re-valve kits that various companies such as Derisi and GT offer have sag? i.e. With Elka the ride height is lower. Does toes the re-valve kits have a lower ride height too?

The one we offer does as does the derisi and I believe gt has an option of single rate springs.

I went with GT Thunder on my revalves and went with a company called Protect for my swing arm skid plate. After much research I couldnt pass up on the idea of a stainless steel skid plate. Like clock work I have to repalce my swing arm skid every year no matter what bike I am on. Protect gives the choice of a extra deep linkage tray or no linkage tray at all, I went with no tray. I should have everthing back in less than a week. (Now I just have to finish the rest of my bike).

I plan on derisi rebuilds.

As far as the sprocket guard question i have had a LSR one on my 450R for a few weeks now. It was worked flawlessly trail riding so far. Bouncing off of things like stumps and logs have not been an issue. Ill let everyone know how it holds up through the winter.
