So ive been reading about alot of problems with the xtreme clutch and trans.

anyone try putting a pitster/GPX motor in one yet?

would it be a direct bolt in, and would the kicker (kick start) clear the frame?

The motor I believe is based off a similar version, they should have left them manual, it would have atleast shifted smoother. Also the pitbike stuff would have all fit. It seems the 125 is a misfit. The 70 and 90 can accept Honda parts, and pit bike stuff, but the 125 is diff. dimensions? Atleast that is what they say. I heard a rumor that the 125 has a beefier tranny? But I also heard it wasn't the Guy Cooper like Xtreme said.

that is what i have ended up doing today and also went with the inner rotor ignition and this motor will have the manual clutch also.cant beat the price either for less than 1500.00 ignition included.i spent way more than that on the motors for for my sons cvt polaris's and his apex.

we put a gpx motor in the race trx90 in 2005...it ran awesome for about 2 months then we cracked the cases from top of the motor to the bottom.so i would either get 2 gpx motors or try to fix the typhoon motor.
