fox r3 roost deflector adjusting help!!!

i know this isnt about a quad but i just got a fox r3 roost deflector for christmas and i tried it on by the way it is a large and the front protector is a little high so i tried to adjust it to bring it down and i cant seem to get the screws that hold what lenght you want the protector to be at and i want to bring it down to the next hole. i tried to unscrew the screw and it is double sided using a flat head phillips screw driver on both sides but it seems that it wont loosen so i can adjust for riding tomarow so any help will be great
