Will stock front shocks from a 2006 400ex fit on a 2001 400ex? And if I have Shocks set up for +2 arms, would they be able to fit on standard sized arms? And I would prob. have to revalve them and stuff like that right?

yes they would fit because honda didn't change the shocks but if your going to revalve it for +2 a arms and all that i would go with 450r shocks

I already have +2 arms. I need to make my quad narrower for some of the trails over here, so im changing them to +1 or maby even stock. And what would be better stock 450r shocks or the works triple rates with ressies the I have?

it depends, if you just buy the 450r shocks and put them on your quad without revalving them for your weight and everything then the works are better but if you revalve the 450r shocks for your weight and riding style and even put the TCS kit that they make for it(ask Colby @C&D racing for more info on the kit) then the r shocks will be just as good or even better than the works shocks.the only thing is that, that kit is 300 bucks, plus 300 to revalve, it plus the cost of the shocks, so it can be pretty expensive.
