Help!!!

My 300ex is making a knocking noise. The guy at the dealership said it might be the camchain. Does this sound right? The previous dealership overfilled the oil. They put in 10w-40. It is ususlly around like 80-100 degrees around here. Is the oil to thin?It only knocks after you ride for at least 10min.

.. Its not the valves because i just adjusted them. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

What octane gas are you running? Try premium if you arent already. Also u may wanna try 15w50 but if u want motorcycle oil try 20w-50. Hope i helped
