got a powercore 4 exhaust with a k&n and just installed the fmf powerup jet kit.The main jet they tell you to install is actually smaller than stock but i installed it anyway.Didnt really feel like it gave it much more juice so i put in the next biggest one which is a 124and the one they tell u to use is 118 and stock is 122.It feels like the 124 spits and pops a bit to much.should i mess with the air mixture or change needle posistion.Would the smaller 118 be better than the stock 122.Dont really know which way to go.I want to get the most out of it.Any help would be appreciated.

when is it popping? On decel or accel? Where your air screw at?

Its popping on decel but when i accel and wind it up on a long run it sputters a bit. Just feels like it could run a little cleaner and stronger with some adjusting. The air screw is about 2 1/2 turns out. BTW also got a dial a jet on it also.

sorry I forgot about this thread. Well I would bump the main up two sizes and then try taht. Also richen up the needle a little. then you should be good to go.

ok I will try going up to the next bigest in the kit which is a 128. when u say richen the needle do u move the clip up or down.

i belive you make it so that there is less needle exposed under the clip.
