I have a CT Racing 330. If I'm going to be riding big long trails where I'm going to top out I'll throw on a 14 up front to give me more top end. Normal riding I keep the stock 13 front and 38 rear.
I currently use Side Winder sprockets.
These set ups are with 20" tires.

I use 14/38 on 18" tires, I am gonna change to 14/36 sidewinder sprockets. On the trx and atc250r.

thats really tall, I don't know if you can use 18" very good with that ratio.

well i really dont know what i want... i'm not good w/ sprocket ratios & $h!T like that. but a few dayz ago i was just getting embarrased in drag races.. (racing against 4strokes) & i know they have all that low end torque to their advantage... soo if that gives you all a better idea of what setup i'm wanting.

the guys that drag race atc250r's(nearly identical motors in 85/86), use a 12t front sprocket and stock to 44t rear. This gives them the acceleartion, it tops out pretty quick, but in a 300ft drag, you need the acceleration.

Try using this ling to help out with ratio's and top speeds. you can plug and play the engine RPM, tire sizes and gearing and get a true picture of speeds and ratio's.
