Use a spray bottle of water with a few drops of dish soap. Lightly spray the area you're going to apply the graphics to prior to installing the sticker. This allows you some flexibility with the sticker. You'll be able move it around, lift it back up if it's misaligned, and work the bubbles out before it dries.
The key is to be patient. My kit was 9 pieces with a matching seat cover. The graphics took me over an hour to install correctly. Take your time and they will turn out great. Post a picture when you're done.

I totally agree, when i put mine on i also used a heat gun to get the graphics to fit better.

Okay. You graphics gurus might be able to hook me up... Is there ANYWHERE I can get graphics for the '04->earlier bikes that aren't poopy pieces of poop?

These are excellent. This is a 1999 to 2004 set of the same graphics I have and the seat covers included. You can find them on Ebay or www.dmpcovers.com

Nice! Not on Ebay anymore for the old 400ex, but dmpcovers.com still has them.

Those graphics on that website are the best I've ever seen. I would easily pay $200.00 to $300.00 for them.
I only paid $67.00 off Ebay for mine. I would have paid more knowing what I know now about the quality and durability of the set I got.
