Flowmaster super 40s are the way to go. They are loud, rumbly, and dont crackle like the glasspacks do.

I have a set of glasspacks on my thunderbird and it sounds mean. then today my friend put them on his 6.0L 2500HD and It is the best sounding truck around her I think and there are alot of them. go with the glasspacks they are cheap and sound great.

Glass Packs are cheaper. Sounds just as good IMO on V8 engines.

Glasspacks.....pfft more like azzpacks because that's what they sound like IMO :o The only thing they have going for them is the cheap price, but that's it. Get them if you like your exhaust to snap, crackle, and pop when you step on it. Might as well weld in a set of straight pipes, it will sound better but still sloppy and unrefined.

Go with the Flows if you like that classic V8 tone and rumble with a much cleaner sound to it.

hmm i had a set of flow master snap of on an old z71 i had replaced them with glasspacks and never had any trouble out them, the only time a glass pack really sounds bad is if you run duel packs off a true duel truck imo

flowmasters will give more hp than a set of glasspacks. it's been dyno tested time and time again. plus they sound more "mature" where as glasspacks sound like a kid with no money. they're cheap though and don't require much room to mount up. i have an almost new set of 2.5" super 40's for sale if you're interested pm me.
