my clutch takes a lot of effort on my part to use. what are some causes and cures? do i need to go to a new pressure plate and clutch setup, bc the stock one has low hours on it

check to see if your clutch cable has slipped out of the hook where it goes down by the exhaust . ive seen them come out and the plastic covering gets melted from them touching the header pipe. whick causes a stiff clutch feel.

unless you've cleaned and lubed your cable regularly i'd say you cable is just dirty or maybe frayed take it off and lub the cable up make sure it gets down in the housing well and inspect the ends and the cable to see if it has been melted or frayed if it has i'd suggest buying a new cable

i agree with jfwyatt
9 out of 10 times it the cable not lubed or melted where it passes by the headers .. buy a cable first
