I have Can get a axis rear shock for a 250r but Can i get it to fit my 400ex??? Has anyone done this before?? Or mybe can Axis change it so it will fit??

when i sold my 250r link bike i had axis all the way around.i call out there and ask that same question, i was told they would have to replace everthing on it to make i work.b s i dont know but thats what i was told

No, it wont fit.
Fronts are interchangeable, but rears arent

yes it will fit. Trust me i tried to do it. If you really wanted to you can make it fit. The geometry might not be perfect in the end but it will fit and work fine. the pic i listed below.. you have to cut that to make it fit. bring it to a local shop.

It wont fit dude, I already tried it. You would have to cut the top bushing spacer to make it fit in the top shock mount and it has too much play on the lower mount to the linkage.

it will fit trust me. the shop i ride for has done it before. I was going to do it but then decided to get a better shock anyway

why would u want a shock with over 15 year old technology on anyway, unless its an aftermarhet shock but dont do it, just because you can make the bolts line up doesnt mean it will work,the 2 bikes are totally differnt and youd probably get better results from your stock ex shock!

and the R shock will be valved for a ligther ride, and it will sag to much, it WILL work, but wontbe the best
