rod end play!! who knows?

an LT80, who knows a spec, connecting rod end play.... .025 inches is way too much right?? any info would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks-darren

ps, this is SIDE TO SIDE clearance, read with a feeler gauge, there is no up and down movement. thanks-darren

thats fine, any well used quad has a decent amount of play in the tie rod ends. If you can feel an amount of play through the bars replace the rod ends.

I dont think he's talking about the tie rods, the rod he's asking about connects the crankshaft to the piston.
