If you're in Canada, then we should be asking you. At least your dealerships are still marketing 2strokes. The US has taken the bold move to attempt to make us all 4stroke pssuies.

i understand.
but i live in europe.
here they have talked about that they will stop to import 2 strokes in 2010 or so...but no one knows the right answer,some say europe will have 2 stroke as long as the companys produce them.
so i was just wondering if yamaha will let the 2007modell be the last one(banshee)

yea its supposed to be from some yamaha phazer snowmobile..and the look is all different to...same with the blaster i think

id rather see no banshee for 2008 then some 4 stroke....they can still make a banshee, i heard they have a banshee motor to pass the EPA....

can you imagine if they did that? there would be so much crap that could break down and or hurt performance. whatta they gonna do, put a catalytic converter on it? i hope not. of course we would just all take it off. :devil:

What a friggin joke. Absolutely amazing. The US is crazy. Look what happened to street bikes... same fate. We don't even think of a sport bike without thinking 4stroke anymore.

Can we even buy 2stroke street machines for closed course tracks at least does anyone know? Can we buy this (90hp in a 250 by the way!)

soon the 4 stroke engines will have a technology(or how its spelled,i'm from europe lol) that will make it hard for us normal people to fix and change parts on lol.

maybe bether to buy the old yamaha rd350(same engine as the banshee have)
