Everybody send best wishes out to Teufel...a vet GNCC racer.

He broke his Femur in his leg today while we were practicing for the GNCC at Mt. Morris.
It is a pretty bad compund fracture in his upper thigh area and will be out of comission for awhile.

He is a good guy and racer and can use all the well wishes he can get.

dangit, that sounds horrible. my thoughts are prayers go out to him for a quick recovery.

lmao, i broke my colar bone, and jaw/eye socket area, it sucks, i couldnt ride, or skate, or even play video games i was so out of shape from layin around, and i passed out in the bathroom, lol

I went to the Doc yesterday, the x rays look prettty scary. They put a rod down through the femur. there is a section that was shattered 5+pieces. Theory is these fragments will gravatate back to the area and generate new bone around the rod connecting the the femur back to it's self ....whew sounds like alot to me. This is a three to four month process assuming no bone graph is needed.

What ever you do, follow the Dr's instructions to the letter. Or you could very well end up shorter on one leg. My freind broke his femor, and wouldn't stay off of it like he was told. it is 1/2 an inch shorter now.

Best wishes man. Just curious, did you pass out from the pain? my friend passed out.

No he didnt passout......he just looked at me and said "well thats it I just broke my leg" and we called for help....

being a good exrider i am do you need me to take care of your quad while you cant ride it i will give it bak in just as bad condition as when you wrecked it ok? lol soory to her the news and listen to soggyman!
