I had a set of AC pro pegs on my 400ex and they held up GREAT. I just orderd a set of AC Blackline Pro Pegs for my YFZ. I hope they hold up as good as they did on my 400.

sure you can. if you order them from your dealer they'll be sliver but if you call and order them form AC RACING you can pick any color.

I just installed a set last night and it was very difficult getting them to fit right. I also had no directions and have 2 bolts leftover. I am worried that I missed something. There does not seem to be much holding them on. Any help would be appreciated. The only bolts holding them on are the two for the motor mount brackets. This is on an '07 YFZ. They look cool as hell though.

I know what u mean. They seem to be able to slide a little on the peg when you pull on em. Im going to run a bolt through the peg to keep it stable.

your supposed to. Thats why they come with some many extra bolts. I raced a race without the bolts and they were fine, but they vibrated like crazy. once I bolted them down, they are perfect.

you need to bolt the pro peg to the steel mount. one on each side. i downloaded the instruction off their website because i got ther ones in the box wet and couldn't read it.

I figured that the bolts went there but the directions were a little confusing about that. I did think they went through there though

My DG were tough to line up, I finally realized to leave ALL bolts loose until the very end.

Yeah my AC's were tough to line up aswell. I ended up haveing to bang them in place with a 12lb sludge ( with a 2x4 between the sledge and nerf bars) then I could tighten all the bolts up. Since then they have held up great. I sent my 400 flipping off a 20ft jump and it landed directly on one of the nerf bars with no damage.

do you need to drill and bolt like that on the 400ex

I had to slightly redrill two holes to make mine line up.

Got mine drilled and bolted up finally. I feel much better about them now. I simply drilled a 3/8" hole down through the top of the peg and slid the bolt through. They seem sturdy now. Has anybody with a new YFZ ('07) noticed that the pegs are about an inch further back than stock? At first I thought I had gotten the relocated peg nerfs but the peg is at the same elevation only further back. I ended up having to have my shifter shortened so I could reach it.
