HMF black chrome pipe

Does anyone on here have a pic they can show me of a 2005 or newer 400ex in red with a HMF exhaust in black chrome? I think that is the color I want to order but im ordering it off of the internet so I cant see one in person and would like to see what it looks like on my bike. Any help would be great.. thanks

i am thinking that is the one that looks green in person......i am thinking black chrome is the one anyways. just make sure you see a pic first before buying.

I have had one come in that looked green and some that have been the actual color if it does show up green just send it back to hmf and get the correct color.

I was ordering an HMF the other day and the guy at HMF said that all of the black chrome pipes have a green tint... so it isnt a mistake, thats just how they are.

i contacted them about mine being green and they said that is how they are. i was like ok then. :huh

they fixed the one I had show up for a customer this was about a year ago though maybe they decided that they didn't want to replace all of them so they are telling people how they come.

hmm... i have no idea. i wasn't really going to complain because i bought mine used. i just wanted to know why they were green. it has been a while, but it probably has not been a year since i contacted them.

Yeah i sent mine back and switched the color to brushed Aluiminum, and i think it looks way better. But thats my opinon.

my buddy had the polished one and it was definatly a good looking pipe.

I have a black chrome one on my black 450R and I like it. It looks black most of the time, but when the light hits it just right you can see some green in it. I think its cool like that. Ill dig up some pics on my other comp later.

I ended up ordering it with the polished finish and the different tip. I know, im all over the place. The guy told me that the black chrome does have a different tint to it and I figured you cant go wrong with polished. I still havent seen what that one looks like but I guess I will find out in 8-10 working days!

cant go wrong with polished here is my brothers hmf the other day when it came in, i have the brushed and now i wished i would have gotten the polished or black chrome

Thanks for the pick Rootar, that looks sweet. I feel a little more confident with my choice now. I paid an extra $30 for the Vectar tip, I guess it looks a little different. Thanks again for the pic
