no , i m talking about the float height . take ya bowl off , let ya floats hang , thats the measurment i want , the float height will alter how much fuel is in the bowl before the flow is shut off by the needle valve .. not the needle for jetting , thats a different bit all together . i'm just not sure if my valve is shutting off too early and i'm using the fuel in bowl before it can fill back up . maybe their sticking , i will pull it off anyhows .

Im not sure of an exact measurment, but you can measure the distance from the bottom of the carb to the bottom of the bowl, then pull the bowl and see if the float is at least falling that far.More than likely, theres something obstructing the fuel circuit from the tank to the float needle. You may try running it on reserve and see if the prob goes away. The strainer in the tank may also be clogged.I just went thru this on a 300EX,cleaned the carb2 times before I figured out theres a strainer in the petcock on this bike.Cleaned it up and prob solved.

pull the float out (there will be a hinge pin that you remove) then you bend the tab to adjust the height. look in the shop manual or look on sudco's web page there will be a diagram that shows all of the parts. You can also try calling sudco and tell them where you live and your mods thay usually have a base line to start from or call your engine builder.

good luck
