rear-8inch rim and 18 inch tire - front 20 inch tire on what ever size rim( i forget) you can also use 9 inch rim on the back if u want

an 8 inch rim will be lighter. Less unsprung weight equals faster acceleration.

The 8 inch tire also has more side wall than the 9 inch tire, which i believe (but correct me if i am wrong) will give you more bit in the corner and better for motocross.

Most motocrossers will tell you 8 inch in the rear with 18 inch tire and 10 inch up front with a 19 or 20 inch tire.

I personally have the new mxr6's on the rear of my bike and they do really good, i have never tried another tire besides itp, i been thinking about trying the kenda claws up front.

I believe everyone can give good and bad advise on different types of tires but it is personal perference when choosing tires, and yes some tires do better than other on certain type of terrian and tracks, so good luck on choosing the right type of tire and wheel choice.
