question about linkage

Well this coming april for my 17th birthday i plan on getting suspension rebuilds from gt thunder, derisi, or c&d racing(although i have not looked into them that much)

i noticed that gt thunder uses an after market linkage and derisi doesnt? is there more of an advantage to using an after market linkage? could i buy all three of gt thunders shocks and then later on buy the linkage straight up with no revalving for anything?

i really don't have much info for single to dual linkage.i know that i installed a rear elka shock with a duall linkage,and it made a huge difference.i think the dual linkage is considered long travel for the rear.also if u go with a dual linkage,u have to either not run a rear swinger skid or really mod. one out...
