Will a 400ex LT a-arm set-up work on a 300ex? I was wanting to get a LT set-up for my son's 300ex. If it will work what length shock should I use if it has the 400ex shock bracket? thanks for any help

400ex LT set up will work. If you use the Shock relocator also then you will need to use a 19.25' shock. I run the 400ex LT a arms, but I use the 16.25' shock without the relocator.

Hey 300EX_#87: How wide is your quad overall....that is exactly what I want....if its the right width...I don't want to be any wider than my stock 450R

I have +2 400ex a arms and spindles/hubs etc on my 300ex. With 3+2 offset ITP wheels it is 2 inches wider than my stock width 450R. So if you want to stay the same as a 450R your gonna need +2 400ex a arms and stock or 4+1 offset aftermarket wheels.

When I measured it, it was around 48'. It is wider than a stock 450r. Those are 400ex +3 a arms.

I don't think he wants to use a shock relocator. There is a company called GDH racing that makes 300 ex long travel a arms. They come in +3 which is really close to stock 450r. You don't have to use the relocator, and you can use a 400ex stock length shock.

I think his name is elementryder, well he bought a set of GDH. He might still have them forsle actually. PM him and i'm sure he has the info. The guys on ebay is the same guy that makes the a arms. I'm sure you can send him a message and get it figured out. I'm not sure how much your willing to spend, but I don't know if his a arms are that cheap.

they are not aournd anymore. i have their a-arms and have been trying to get ahold of them for the last 6 weeks and they don't answer the phone or respond to my messages so im done with them. i wish i had gone with the 400ex houser a-arms instead of these GDH ones i got.

Ive had that relocater bracket for almost 3 years now. It has worked flawlessly. Even survived a few rollovers and crashes. What is the problem with using one? the material is high strength and can be trusted.
