6 hour or 12 hour race?

from what I have seen it is a combo, but it really depends on what is available at the track

About 1/2 of the races are held in the same locations from the year before. It all depends on what the rider turnout and track is like if they go back again next year.

the 12 hours will be at the same place it was at in )^, i would assume its also the same date-first saturday after the ironman gncc

It will be 2 weeks later from what I have been told. I think that the date is Nov 10th. This will give the GNCC people a little more time to get there stuff together for the race.

Just when we think we have it figured out, a major series changes their schedule and it takes us back to the drawing board.

Don't write this in your calendar in ink, but here's our tentative schedule:
6 Hrs
May 26 TX
June 10 KY (Sunday)
July 28 WI
Aug 11 NY
Sept 29 MO
Oct 13 OH (Sunday)

12 Hrs:
Nov 10 TX

dont know if its brilliant or stupid, but the Sparta KY GNCC is June 9. either everyone will be there since they are close, or no one will be there because they dont want to put a quad thru that much abuse in 1 weekend

We did this in Texas having the 6 hr the day after the GNCC race and had one of our largest turnouts for a 6 hr race.
We are also playing with the idea of letting a team use more than 1 quad per team. It hurts the idea of the 6 hr race, but we have to try something to get the numbers up. Also, some riders have contracts that will not let them ride on a quad that has other parts on the quad than from the company that the rider has a contract with.
