I just got my 07 monday. I am looking at putting a HRC kit in with K&N. I am going to be running stock piston. Don't know which pipe to go with Rossier or Nmotion. Or just put a HMF slip-on. Yes I have read all the theads on pipes. I just would like to see what you think Thanks for your help.

How ya been Mike? I remember when you bought my stock 400ex arms a few years back.

For the pipe I would say go with the Rossier. Also you will need to run with your airbox lid off to allow it to run the best so you may want to get a UNI filter. Get an adjustable fuel screw too.

You'll have to meet us at the Badlands some time. I should have mine done at the end of Jan. I hope.

Yeah I remember you. Man i wish I would have kept those shocks. LOL !

Sounds like you got one heck of a bike.

I have decided to go with the Rossier. It sounds like it is the best pipe out for what I have read. My buddy just put one one his yfz 450 and he likes it. My other buddy has a 05 450 r and he has a LRD Pro4 on it and I want to go with something different then him. Not looking to dumping a lot of money in it, just want to wake this thing up so it rruns like it should out of the box.

I just went to Badlands for the first time a coulp of weeks ago. Cool place! They got a monopoly on that flag thing. We was there 30 minutes and my buddy broke his. Gettin off his quad. t was an hour and a 1/2 drive there for me. Haspin is closer and I like it a little better. Not saying I won't go back to Badlands.

It will run much better once you get it rejetted and everything. Hopefully you don't have any problems with the e-start. Colby can hook you up with everything you need to get the carb dialed in.

I thought the Rossier uses and endcap instead of the disc setup.
Can you get them either way?

there is no need to get a full system for a 07 hrc equipped 450r..

the header that comes with the hrc is one of the best... the actual exhaust system hrc modified is hard to beat but if u want a bit more better sound and look go with a hmf slip on and keep the hrc head...

also if u have a e-start dont burn the starter and start it the way tyhe manual says to the detail...

also has ur weep coolant tube on the bottom of the engine been leaking? its connected to the skid plate?

yeah, I would hold off on the HRC. Get yourself the full system that you want, then pick out a cam and filter. All the other stuff from the HRC is freebee stuff. The jets that come with it will prolly not work for your area or at least only one of them will. It would be more cost efficient not to buy the full HRC. IMO
