Alright i have a question about lights. If I was to get these lights would i have to have my stator rewound

yeah the link dosen't work. what kind of lights are they? how many watts are they? then we could be more sure.

not to hijack your thread but i have a question about lights.

my stock ones are fine and everything but there loose, idk if there is a bracket that holds them or something but they rattle and it annoys me so does anyone know how to stop that?

I think you would need a different stator or have your stator rewound if you intend to run a total of 100W of lights. But you could probably replace the bulbs with 35W bulbs for a total of 70W and be fine. That is what I did. Bought two 55W lights and put in 35W bulbs.

you reg lights are 35watts each.. you can go 45 each. anymore i would rewind the stator..

could be that little piece the bulb hooks into.. i would take the front fender off and take a close look.. you dont want to lose anything when you're riding..

I am running the stock 35 watt lights with a set of 55 watt halogens. I have ridden it with both running for upwards of 4 hours with no problem and no noticeable draining of my battery or dimming of either. I don't know how many watts the stock stator puts out, but I'm running 180 watts with no problems.

I am running a total of 140w with my stockers and a set of lazer star lights. I have had no problem as of yet. I have been running them like this for about 9 months doing alot of night riding too.
