It is NOT global warming. It is caused by El Nino. The weather is always warmer in the north and colder in the south than usual during el nino.

Southern Ontario has been dry. This sucks :grr: I want so much snow, I can't open the front door. From 1997 to about 2000 we got like 3-5 feet, it was bomb.

yeah thats very weird in vegas of all places...i'm in SW ontario too and its ridiculous that we have no snow at all this close to xmas, about 10 days ago we got a big dumping of around 12 inches but it was gone a few days after, its been about mid to high 40s F here for us which i still can't get over...its alright though, all the trails and pits are beautiful and also my friends gave me a hard time last spring about spending all my money on a new quad instead of a sled...now they are talking about selling their sleds to buy quads/bikes because they are upset about the lack of snow :p

Not here, just another "wet Christmas" here in the great northwet. Its all good though, i can see the snowline from the driveway. Just where I like it here, 1500 to 2000 feet. When it snows in town around here it just freaks everyone out. I swear everyone here in the Seattle area thinks the sky is falling when we get snow in the low lying areas, it grid locks the whole puget sound area:rolleyes:

I believe the last couple thousand got it back late Christmas eve or early yesterday morning, just a few homes left according to the NWCN. We only lost it for 17 hours and 45 minutes. My in-laws were out for four days, and many were out for ten to twelve days:eek2: It was pretty wild the way it destroyed things in such a random pattern. Normally, where I live is the worst hit. We get 90+ mph gusts at least once a year.
