Ok my quad is a bit*h to start when its cold...I know i can replace the p-jet to a 42..is there anything else i can do? its a pian in the *** when i drive it to a friends house and sit for a couple hours, then it wont start.

1. Clean/check spark plug
2. Service airfilter
3. Verify ignition timing
4. Clean carburetor
5. Verify battery is fully charged
A hotter plug is said to help with starting. Most plugs like ngk the lower the number the hotter the spark. Some plugs are the oppisit.

i never have problems starting mine inn cold weather. i hate how long it takes to warm up though. i just pump the throttle like 3 times, put the choke on half way, and hit the magic button. fires right up.
my ex started fast to just had to keep the throtlle on. My yz motor now takes a half hour to start in summer. I havent had it out for winter yet
