I was wondering what other performance mods I can do with out going to a bigger bore. I'm running a 416 kit, jetted, UNI filter, and I'm running an HFM Balance Pro exhaust. I've already bought a new CDI and a stage 2 hot cam and they will be going in after Christmas. What else can I do?

450r carb would work pretty good for ya if your looking for alot of top end but youll need to run an open airbox or an ehs lid.

Bump up your compression, depending on what your running now. Never tried it, but some folks like the timing key you can get from Sparks.

i like the timing key from sparks, i got one. it is not a sparks key, but it is a 6 degree advancement like the sparks key. also, i wouyld def. do the 450R carb. the ones from '05 and earlier bring alot more gains. i will be doing the 450R carb with mine when i do the 416.

I heard that you're only supposed to use the timing key with the stock piston size... I don't know how true that is. I heard it from a guy at my local shop and the guy couldn't give me a reason as to why, but that's what he said.

thats what they recomend, but it doesn't hurt the motor...most ppl still run them. they only say that because of heat issues, but if the bike is kept right, and ur not always running it in like 1st and 2nd gear....or shrieking the RPMs it is fine.
