i have an 03 warrior and im on my second front sprocket. i just put a new renthal front sprocket and renthal chain on it and the teeth on the front sprocket are already starting to wear into a hook shape. i have the chain slack set to the factory specs. have any of you guys had this problem? could it be that the chain is still to tight?

it might still be too tight, cause a renthal sprocket should last you longer than any chain will.

i honestly don't know, i just go by feel. probably an inch of slack on the bottom side of the chain, middle way between the 2 sprockets. does that sound right?? I'll have to check and see what i'm running with a tape measure i guess....

also check to make sure that your rear axle is properly in line, as this will cause premature wear on the sprockets. and its easy to get them out of alignment on warriors, blasters and banshees due to the crappy design of the rear housing ajustment.

thanks, that is a very good idea i will have to check the alignment.
