bent rims

i bent one of the stock rims on my 450r and im trying to bend it back to a point where it will hold air. so far i have beaten it with a variety of hammers but no progress so far. r there any tricks u guys know of or do i just gotta keep hiting it.

DO you have the tire off the rim? or do you have enough air out to get the wheel against something firm so that you can hammer it out? I just had to do the same thing on a front wheel , it wasn't very severe tho.

you could try a vice

tie down around tire to squeeze the tire to the rim

ratchet tie downs work better
