i remember a while back a few members on this board where making and selling nice billet aluminum peices for the 400ex....

are they still?? who are they?? im interested in a few peices

Check on e-bay!! There's a guy that sells billet parts and there very nice!! Check under "400ex"!! I believe the seller's name is "Sandal27" or something like that. I think there's 2 people that sell parts now that I think about it.

i have a 1hp polishin motor, in my shop, really a bench grinder with jewelry polishin wheel on it, it does the job, if anyone wants me to polishe something, just tell me what it is and i will see how much it will cost you

im gonna start polishing pieces to add to the 400. i might be able to make some extras. i have all the aluminum pieces i could ever want. the base sheet metal shop throws it out all the time. i just have to get the stuff to polish with. the first one im gonna do is an outline for the flat spot under the key and neural light.

it's all mildly polished, if you wanted a mirror finish you'd have to add some elbow grease. it's all very nice stuff, made by Noss Machine Co.
