alltitude jetting question

I ride at 9000' i have an 04- stock exhaust other than an end cap, stock filter and lid. I changed the main jet for the alltitude but my question is do you have to change the piliot? The dealer says i don't have to change it but i am just curious as to what you guys think. And should i adjust the needle or the air screw?
