They are barely differnt from the warrior with the exception of brakes and caberator i believe...... The suspension is not that great, nor the power...

>>I would say spend the extra money to buy a 400cc or bigger.. IMO

The raptor 350 is the newer version of the warrior. Unless you're casually riding trails I'd suggest a 400ex.

good quad thats for sure, i miss my warrior actually. the raptor 350 does look better though, but thats about where the differences end for the most part. man are they a blast to beat up on!!

i had an warrior, and if i had to do it again, i would probably get the 400ex honestly. but either way, its a good choice

unfortunately the raptor 350 is the warrior but improved that means a 350cc regular 2 valve head. the hondas are 4 valve, HUGGGGGGGGGGE difference for all you boneheads who wonder why the warriors "slow"

Gee and I always thought the 400 was faster because it is 50 cc larger, roughly a 12% increase in cc over the 350. Shouldn't that make it 12% faster???? I think an extra $1000 for the 400ex should get you a lot more than it does over the Raptor 350. Raptor 350 msrp $4999 compared to the 400ex msrp $5999.

Yea and those 2 valve engines suck. Look how slow all those Corvettes are. Those Corvettes get eaten up by every 4 valve engine out there.

Seriously though. If you want to race in the woods the Raptor 350 would not be my first choice either. It is great for trail riding and keeping the front end planted but for racing at higher speeds the suspension has a lot to be desired. I would seriously look at the Z400. Water cooled, fast revving engine and full adjustable front suspension with rezzies plus an MSRP of $5899. $100 less than the 400ex.

You want a Yamaha and you want to race woods = Raptor 700. Beats a YFZ in woods hands down and a 350 and 400 will never touch it. :D

400ex or the z400 would kill the 350 warrior on any playing field.

the 400's are faster lighter and better handleing.

now if your brand loyal buy the 350 and let the 400 owners know when thier tail lights burn out.

yamaha makes some really good dirtbikes/atv's

its just that the 350 is at a disadvantage vs the z400/400ex

they are pretty competitive in the markets they choose to be.

yamaha is a little behind in smaller atv's
they have no atv to compete with z250/250ex/300ex
(the blaster imo is outdated)
